If Jesus were physically walking on the earth today like He did 2000 years ago, who will be Mary Magdalene and Mathew the tax collector?
Who will be the Samaritan woman with 5 husbands that He went looking for? Or the woman caught in adultery that He didn’t condemn. Who will be the lady with the alabaster jar looked down on by the Pharisees . Is there a Zacchaeus on a tree hoping to get to know Him?
Who will He be seeking out, and dining with, hanging out with, and beckoning to come to get to know Him?
Well…. Jesus is physically walking the earth today. He is living in His children. The question then is are we loving people the way that we should?
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? ( Luke 15: 1-4)
Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners ( Mark 2:17)
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10)
